Todd Stratton serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kavison Homes. In this capacity, he provides executive leadership in all facets of development and construction. Todd brings 32 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction to the business and is revered as an expert in land development. During his career, Todd has developed over 2,000 acres of land and built over 3,500 residential units in Nevada, Arizona, California and Texas.
Todd started his career in construction working for a family-owned and operated electric business and later a family-owned and operated home-building business, Sterling S Development. As Division President for Sterling S Development, Todd was in charge of all operations in Nevada and Texas. From 2000-2005, Todd served as the President of American Premiere Homes. Under his leadership, American Premiere grew from just two subdivisions in Las Vegas to over forty subdivisions, including Sierra Ranch, a 1,000 lot master-planned community.
In 2016, Todd established Kavison Homes as a family real estate development business that includes his son Kevin who serves as a Vice President. Kavison Homes not only develops residential communities under its own corporate structure, but also offers general contracting services for other land developers. In its inaugural year, Kavison Homes was named "New Home Builder of the Year" by the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association. The Clark County Board of County Commissioners recently selected Kavison Homes to build two residential communities that will bring affordable housing for purchase to the greater Las Vegas area. This private-public joint venture is the first of its kind and will include over 200 single-family dwellings.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV), a Master’s Degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University, and an Master’s in Business Administration from UNLV.
